What happens to your details

This covers the waitlist form on jackdaw.help. We collect very little, and only to run the waitlist.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store:

  • your email address;
  • the answers you choose to give: where your help docs live, how often you ship, and your company name;
  • the page that sent you to the form, the country our host reports for your connection, and the date you signed up (plus the date of any later change if you sign up again).

To stop spam, we also keep a one-way scrambled version of your IP address for up to an hour, so the form can limit repeat submissions. It is not stored with your signup.

Why

To email you about early access and send a short update every 4 to 6 weeks, and to decide which help tools we connect first. We don't sell your details or use them for advertising.

Where it's stored

The site runs on Cloudflare, and signups are stored in a Cloudflare database. If the form shows a spam check, that check is Cloudflare Turnstile, and we pass it your IP address to run the check. The site itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until we stop running the waitlist.

Unsubscribing and deletion

To stop hearing from us, reply to any of our emails or write to [email protected]. To have your signup deleted, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we'll remove it.

Who we are

Jackdaw is being built by the team behind Rooket and Cornix. Questions about this page go to [email protected].
